Breaking up structures, where uncompromising dance music collides with bright melodies and airy sound cascades. Blowing combinations of sound, space and emotion directly with effortless ease on the dance floor, create a link between the head and legs – purposefully and directly. That´s what the makers of ‘Boxed Techno Stripes’ wanted to create with the first edition of their compilation. They go on the offense without further ado. With Alex Bau, Felix Bernard and Microtrauma have a whole series of producers missed their musical stamp in the Compilation. But since the whole is often more than the sum of the parts, the producers Blaues Licht, Dec and Rausch or Christian Fischer hook up in the same line. Dark, sometimes slightly melancholic, sometimes crisp, minimalist, dreamy time covering ground in the break, all 19 tracks on the compilation prescribe all the grim machine-funk with a raw Detroit attitude. ‘Boxed Techno Stripes’ is compiled Techno music. No more, nor less. No frills, straight to the point and focus on the essentials updated: the combination of emotion, power and voltage on the dance floor of your favorite clubs!
